Great experience with Stormancer's friendly crew.
They deployed a server solution and we've spent a lot of time to implement Motorhackz prototype and to adapt the server logic to Unity3d's physX engine characteristics. But we're pretty happy to get something stable and fun, chasing and shooting at each other!
Still a bunch of work to be done before an alpha release, login/lobby/online race are almost ready, but vehicle selection isn't - and we're also heading toward better performances with UDP connections. That makes the upcoming steps challenging and exciting!
That was my very first experience of a collective work on this project, and it was very useful for me - autodidact and amateur - to be in a team.
